CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Programs are available to care for and involve children in the life of the church.
Nursery
A well equipped nursery is staffed to care for small children and babies at
most services.
Sunday School
We have a Sunday School program for all ages - preschool through sixth grade.
The curriculum is planned to give the students a broad scope of Bible teaching.
Adventure Bible Club (Ages 2-5)
This club is designed to teach the little ones Gods word. There are Bible
verses they memorize that go along with each letter of the alphabet. As
they learn their verses they receive a special pin to wear on their Adventure
Bible Club vest! Wow man. They sing songs, do crafts, and just have a great
time together.
Tree Climbers (grades 1-2)
If you are the father of a first or second grade boy, Tree Climbers is
designed especially for you. The idea behind Tree Climbers is simple
yet valuable. Men and boys play a few games, enjoy a simple learning
activity, and hear a story with a Biblical emphasis. This club is designed
as a father-son club, and works best when father and son attend together.
Almost all Christian dads feel the need to spend more time with their children.
Tree Climbers is a great way to combine quality time for a father and his son
with involvement in a program for boys who need the example and care of Christian
Men.
In the cases where a boy's Dad is simply not available, we are often able to find
a Mentor (or sponsoring Dad figure) who works along side and helps a boy progress
through a series of activities matched to his level. A typical Wednesday evening
starts at 7pm sharp with a welcome time, followed by games, crafts, Woody's Checkup
(a time for Dad and Son together), and finally a Bible story. We end at 8:30pm
sharp.
Stockade (grades 3-6)
Stockade is designed for boys in grades 3-6. Kids in this age have tons of
energy and enjoy playing games together. This club is designed to provide a
structured approach for achievement projects, games, Bible memorization and
other activities. Our Rangers guide the Stockade boys through their Post Time
activities, as well as leading the game time. As with Tree Climbers, we start
promptly at 7pm with "Building the Stockade", followed by games, post time
(including crafts and or achievement awards), followed by a Bible story.
Both Tree Climbers and Stockade programs developed by Christian Service Brigade.

useful skills and learn about themselves and God.

YOUTH AND COLLEGE MINISTRIES
Junior High
This is a small dynamic group of growing young people led by trained Bible
teachers. Besides meeting together on Sunday morning they are involved socially
at other times.
High School
We have a growing group of High School students from various schools in our community. In addition to their social activities, they are involved in practical application-oriented Bible studies on Sundays and at other times.
Adult Classes
There is a series of courses in which the student progresses from the basics
of the Christian faith to greater levels of understanding of the Word of God
and commitment to Christ. It is structured in such a way that one course is
generally a prerequisite for the next. The Classes are scheduled for Sunday
mornings or weekday evenings according to the need.
Please refer to the University of Acts page and the Weekly Schedule for more details.
Weeknight Fellowship Groups
During the week several groups meet for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
The locations, days and times sometimes change, so they appear in our weekly
bulletin. These studies are informal and are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere
in private homes and at the chapel. Again, these are both topical and book
studies from the Old and New Testaments.
